Dubai has Emaar, Nakheel, Dynasty Zarooni..What do you have?

I started this after having a discussion with my uncle who is a serious investor in Real Estate industry in Dubai.

We were talking (like everyone else in UAE) about the boom and boom of the property prices and profits of investment in the market for the last decade.

People have not yet appreciated the value Dubai as compared to Russia, UK, Mumbai and elsewhere

I was of the opinion that the industry cannot see any downward trends in the coming few years as the influx in Dubai will keep the requirement of residential properties keeps growing. Even the recent posts by some publication that the there may be some corrections in 2 years time seems like it will increase 90% and go slow on the next 10% quiet annoying with people talking as if the cost after the correction is going to go down to the prices in the 90’s and so they can buy them all !!

My uncle says that investment in launches still is sure shot bets like winning a lottery every time you invest. He invests about 4 times a year with very big names. His personal favorite is Dynasty Zarooni. I asked him why them and he says that companies as professional and powerful as them offers safe investment and huge benefits which are negotiated with the developers and passed to the investors.

He also has investments in Mumbai (Bombay) where he says that the long term investments yields steady income in terms of rent and value.

After talking like this for over 5 years now. I think I have become an expert in the property and real estate market where I know where to gain quickly and where to invest my provident fund amount.

I will be writing about my views and that of my uncle’s in the coming days. This will be for the benefit of those who are get panicky. I will also write why people should not contradict what my uncle says.
